Six Wheels in Germany – June 2023 (Month 111)

This is not my normal monthly blog.

Firstly, it is late (I usually try to publish by the first of the next month).

Secondly, I have almost nothing to report.

This is because I am currently working on a separate blog post which is about our two week tour in Scotland (by car). We got back on the 2nd July and I hoped to publish that report very quickly but there are so many photos (not all of cakes!) that it’s going to take me several more days.

Here are just a few pictures from the very sunny first two weeks of June.

We didn’t see so much of Lara as she was really busy with the final events in her schooling career. She got a fantastic result in her exams and was heavily involved in planning the Abi Ball (Prom), which we attended. She did get her first chance to drive Klaus’s Octavia, Murphy, though – and did it really well!

However, the hot weather in the first two weeks of June meant that Klaus and I went on several cycle rides to various places for cake or ice cream.

My Mum commented that last month’s blog had too many cakes so I have put all the cakes and ice creams together in one gallery for your delectation.

So keep an eye out for the special report on Scotland which should hopefully be available within a few more days. Once it is I will put a link to it on this blog post too.
